New Rod Humble interview at GameSpy

Rod Humble was interviewed during the press conference at E3. He has given out some information about how in-game customization will work. The textures will be common to all types of objects, so you can place the same texture on your trousers, your table and even your car.

What's even more interesting is that the game will include a color matching algorithm so that you can take one color and game will find matching colors for you. It's not such a novelty as Rod says, take a look at Color Wizard and you will get an idea how this stuff works, however it's a nice addition for the game. Later on they talk about The Sims themselves, nothing new is revealled anyway and the conclusion is that they will be much more like real people.

Rod also says that they will be focusing on smaller expansion packs for Sims 3 so that people can get only the bits they want in the game.
